DetailsAn opportunity has arisen for a Junior Import Merchandiser. The Junior Import Merchandiser will be working on active and lifestyle clothing, making sure that the products are to a high standard and are on track with time.
ResponsibilitiesRetrieving information during the development process so that any problems which could occur during the constructing of the garments are found.Placing purchase orders with the factories.Supporting with the product samples throughout the sampling stage.Working on all stages of the critical path, including contacting all parties involved to inform them on the status of the product manufacture.Working on the inbound and outbound deliveries.Organising the deliveries to customers' warehouse.The Junior Merchandiser may also have to travel overseas within the role to go to the factories.Self-motivated.Understanding of the supply chain within the industry.Preferably experience within a similar role.This is a full-time role within the office.
