We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Junior Events Planner to join our team and play a vital role in delivering exceptional events at our renowned venues.Job Description:As a Junior Events Planner at Saggy Stone Brewing Company, you will be at the forefront of creating memorable events at our Taprooms/Restaurants. You will collaborate with the Restaurant team and staff, as well as the Marketing team to ensure that every event runs seamlessly, offering our guests a unique, memorable experience that combines craft beverages and gourmet dining.Roles and Responsibilities:- Event Planning: Collaborate with the Restaurant team and staff, as well as the Marketing team to plan, design, and execute events at our Taprooms/Restaurants, ensuring they align with our brand and exceed customer expectations.- Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure the successful delivery of services, including decor, entertainment, etc.- Logistics Management: Manage the logistical aspects of events, from scheduling and transportation to on-site setup, ensuring everything operates smoothly.- Customer Engagement: Interact with customers and clients to understand their event requirements, ensuring their needs are met and their experience is outstanding.- Budget Management: Contribute to creating and managing event budgets, optimizing costs while maintaining high-quality standards.- On-site Coordination: Be present on-site during events to oversee event execution, coordinate activities, and address any issues that may arise.- Post-Event Evaluation: Gather feedback and assess the success of events, using this information to enhance future event planning.- Documentation: Maintain accurate records, contracts, and event-related documentation.Requirements:- Tertiary qualification in event management, hospitality, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.- Passion for creating extraordinary events and a customer-focused approach.- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for event schedules.- Knowledge of the craft beverage industry and current event industry trends is a plus.How to Apply:If you are a motivated, detail-oriented individual with a passion for event planning and a desire to contribute to unforgettable experiences at our Taprooms/Restaurants, we want to hear from you.
