We are currently seeking talented and motivated Electronic Engineering graduates to join our Graduate Development Programme as Electronic Engineers. This exciting opportunity will provide you with comprehensive training, mentorship and hands-on experience in designing, developing, and testing electronic and avionic modules within the aerospace and defence industry.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to further develop their skillsets in the aerospace industry and gain valuable experience on relevant real-world projects. This is done with a view to develop capacity and careers in this field.
Minimum Acceptance Criteria for applicants: Bachelor's or post graduate degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering or currently studying such a qualification for completion by the end of 2024. South African Citizenship or permanent residence in South Africa with a valid work permit. A full-time in office presence is required at Incomar's facilities in Pretoria, Gauteng from January 2025. Required Skills and Interests: No specific work experience is required, however exposure to electronic hardware development and/or exposure to the aerospace and defence industry will be beneficial. Knowledge and an Interest in high-speed digital design. Knowledge and an Interest in cutting edge processor, FPGA and SOM technologies. Knowledge of PCB design techniques and technologies. Keen interest in experimenting with hardware, processors & development boards. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite. Preferred Skills & Experience: Exposure to PCB design tools (e.g. Altium). Interest in electronic circuit design and simulation. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively. General interest in the Military, Defence and Aerospace Industry. What we Offer: Comprehensive training and mentorship. Successful candidates will be renumerated for the full duration of the Graduate Development Programme. Required Commitment: Successful candidates will be required to commit to an initial 12-month Graduate Development Programme. Upon completion of the initial 12 months, candidates who have demonstrated their commitment towards Incomar's core values and have shown an aptitude and passion towards working in the aerospace and defence industry will be invited to join the Incomar Team on a permanent basis and complete the remaining 12 months of the Graduate Development Programme. Successful candidates must be willing to commit for a Graduate Development Programme of up to 24 months. Successful candidates offered permanent positions after the initial 12 months will be required to commit to a minimum of a 24-month workback employment term following successful completion of the 24-month Graduate Development Programme. Other Information: Any transport to and from Incomar facilities is excluded. Any accommodation / board & lodging is excluded. Successful Candidates will be required to provide an up-to-date police clearance certificate.
