Monthly Basic Salary (Market related, Negotiable)
Our client based in Cape Town CBD is seeking a Junior Duty Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate would be responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations (Front Office as well as F&B), managing guest inquiries and requests, supervising staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of service. The Duty Manager will also be responsible for managing and resolving any issues that may arise during the guest's stay.
Qualifications Formal qualification in Hospitality advantageousExperience in the hospitality industry (in both Rooms and F&B) preferablyWorking knowledge of Opera & MicrosInternational experience advantageous Person Specifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong leadership and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work well in a team Competencies: Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectivelyCustomer service-oriented mindsetAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsFast & accurate data entry skillsKnowledge of hotel operations and proceduresDriver's license essential Key Performance Indicators & Conduct Requirements: Highly professional and well groomedHigh professional standard of customer service, ascertained through feedback from internal and external customersDisplay a 'can-do' attitude when assisting other departments Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Standard Hospitality shift (06:00 – 15:00; 14:00 – 23:00)
