Junior Diesel Technician

Junior Diesel Mechanics, reporting to Operations Manager, are required to join our Durban and JHB branch and ensure customers are supplied with quality service, maintenance and repairs.
Duties and Responsibilities
? Repairing, servicing and conducting maintenance of heavy machinery
? Performing initial visual inspections.
? Performing preventative Maintenance.
? Trouble-shooting systems and equipment.
? Adhering to deadlines and targets.
? Ensuring safety is adhered to in all tasks.
Requirements
? Mechanical certification or relevant qualification is required.
? Driver's License
? At least 1—2 years working experience in a similar field.
? Ability to follow health and safety regulations.
? Familiarity with technical concepts and operating systems.
Skills
? Complex problem solving and critical thinking.
? Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
? Time management and planning skills.
? Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills.
