Trainee Costing Engineer (Pmb)

Minimum Requirements: Accredited certified qualification in Mechanical Engineering.Financial Background At least 1-2 years' experience in a Production / Manufacturing environment.Proven written and verbal communication abilitiesProficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office, Auto Cad & inventorKnowledge of Process flows and production processes & DrawingsResponsibilities: BOM and routing maintence.Use computer software to calculate estimates Production Cost maintenanceEvaluate a product's cost-effectiveness or profitabilityAssist the Project Team in tracking over/under billings and taking an active role in reducing under billingsRecommend ways to make a product more cost effective or profitableDevelop project plans for the duration of the projectIdentify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labour expense  factorsAssist the project team in closing out the project and validate the final revenue before the final bill is submitted#J-18808-Ljbffr
