Key Responsibilities: Design and manage database systems that meet the specialized needs of our users,Implement and maintain security measures to protect data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.Monitor and manage database performance, optimizing for speed and efficiencyDesign and implement strategies for database backup, archiving, and recovery to prevent data loss Respond to and manage database incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss Work closely with data architects and IT specialists to set up, maintain, and monitor data networks Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in database administration or a related field.Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proficiency in SQL and other database technologies such as MS SQL Server, MySQL, and othersStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot database issues effectively Understanding of business information systems and their integration with database management. General: Office basedGeneral work hours of 08:00 16:30 Hours outside the normal work week may be necessary depending on project scheduleMust be willing to travel to client sites when required
