We are seeking a Junior Controller / Engineering Change Controller for a contract position (1 Sept 2024 – January 2025) based in East London, Eastern Cape. Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: 3+ years' experience in material requirement planning / supply chain management in the automotive industryExperience with SAP and advanced MS Excel: Pivot tables, VLookup, Index/Match, Data TablesValid driver's license with own transport and excellent communication skillsWillingness to work shifts and available for weekend work when needed The successful applicant will be responsible for, but not limited to: Material ordering and supply to cater for demand and ensure material availabilityActioning MRP exception messages, potentials, and low runner parts dailyEnsuring ideal stock levels are maintainedEnsuring successful implementation of engineering changes / model years and minimizing obsolescenceManaging / controlling all road, air, and sea freightMonitoring / correcting parameters weekly and updating / maintaining spreadsheetsEnsuring supplier and account queries are addressed in a timely mannerGeneral administrative tasks and documentation processingSalary: Negotiable for contract duration Please email your detailed CV, supporting documentation, and salary requirements to ****** with the position in the subject line.
