Our client isa leading law firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to a diverse range of clients. They are currently seeking a talented and motivated Junior Commercial Lawyer to theirteam in Cape Town or Johannesburg. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with prestigious South African, UK, and European clients in a dynamic and flexible working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, assess, and negotiate commercial contracts.Provide practical legal advice and solutions in client-facing situations.Apply commercial law expertise to assist in various legal matters.Collaborate with senior lawyers and clients to address legal issues effectively.
Qualifications and Experience:LLB, Admitted Attorney1 - 2 years post-qualification experience in commercial law.Proven experience in reviewing, assessing, and negotiating contracts.Strong client-facing skills and the ability to apply legal knowledge practically.A strong academic record is highly desirable.
Skills and Competencies:
Highly motivated with a proactive approach to taking responsibility.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Detail-oriented with a practical understanding of commercial law.
