Junior Civil Engineer

Overview Hire Resolve is seeking a Junior Civil Engineer to join our client's team in Montague Gardens.The Junior Civil Engineer assists Construction Managers with the planning, construction, and management of civil engineering projects.
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience on construction sites.Responsibilities Review and interpret project drawings and plansHelp with planning and managing work schedulesCoordinate with stakeholders (clients, engineers, managers) for design changes and modificationsDraft temporary works using CADSurvey and set out structuresOversee and manage work activitiesManage resources and materialsSolve unexpected construction problemsEnsure work is completed on time and meets quality standardsAttend site meetingsManage and assess safety protocolsPrepare client reportsBasic project scheduling using MS Projects Requirements BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering or Advanced Diploma from a Technikon3-5 years of experience in medium to large pipeline construction projectsKnowledge of engineering codes and technical standardsCAD experienceRegistration as a Candidate Technician with ECSA (advantageous)Valid driver's licenseMedically fitPreference given to candidates based in the Western CapeGood grasp of engineering concepts and standardsExcellent organizational and time management skillsDetail-oriented problem-solving skills Benefits Salary: Negotiable Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
