Introduction We are looking to recruit a permanent Junior Buyer to work for United Pharmaceutical Distributors (UPD). The role will be based at the Bloemfontein branch and will report to the Demand and Supply Planning Manager.

• Short dated stock – minimizing stock write offs

Required Minimum Education and Qualifications:
• Grade 12
• Degree or 3-year National Diploma in Business / Purchasing / Supply Chain / Finance / Retail Management 
• Experience in dealing with suppliers
• Experience in working in high pressure environments
Minimum Experience and Education:
• 2 to 3 years buying experience in a retail environment (essential)
• Managing objectives (essential) 
• Pharmaceutical buying experience (desirable)
