Requirements4-6 Years Business Advisory ExperienceBusiness Management Degree/DiplomaSMME Research, Advise, Support and Improvement experienceJunior Business Advisor DescriptionTake a positive and creative approach towards profit-bearing resources and find ways to maximize these resources.Provide important marketing and management advice to SMMEs.Enhance the technological aspects of SMME businesses for their advantage.Collect business data from different sections of the organization and develop new approaches for business improvement.Identify flaws that obstruct profit-making processes for the organization.Provide optimal solutions to SMMEs.Conduct diagnostics assessments.Develop assessment reports.Prepare implementation plans.Plan, coordinate, monitor, evaluate, and report on coaching and technical support.Respond to the fast-track needs of clients and beneficiaries.Monitor SD budget per beneficiary.Source industry experts for suppliers in the SD programme.Conduct research, compile data, and prepare papers for presentation by executives, committees, and other stakeholders.Mine data for the SD project to effectively perform tasks.Provide appropriate advice related to techniques that help improve SMMEs, making them more productive.Examine current activities of the SMME.Track figures and other information related to the SMME.Interact with the management committee and owners of small and medium-sized business organizations in meetings.Understand customer needs and how the SMME can fulfill those needs.Upon successful investigation of the SMMEs business, prepare new business plans and suggest suitable business solutions.Support the SMME as a professional advisor.Advise SMMEs on maintaining financial accounts and assets to sustain economic profits.Assist SMMEs in obtaining access to funding with client financial partners to secure newly acquired opportunities.Conduct assessments, analysis, enforcement, and preparation of SMMEs' procurement opportunities with clients.Monitor changing market trends to enhance and develop services and products of SMMEs.Work with clients to meet expectations related to project performance.Interact professionally with the leadership body and other associates involved in project completion.Revenue Generation:Maintain accurate timesheets and productivity records and submit weekly.Ensure productivity targets and set billable hours are met.Reporting:Assist in collating monthly forecast reports and other related reports.Prepare local supplier performance monthly reports.
