Junior Building Estimator - Construction Industry

RPO Recruitment's client, a well-established building contractor in Cape Town, is currently seeking to employ a qualified and hardworking Junior Estimator who can join their successful and growing team as soon as possible.Responsibilities:Preparing accurate cost estimatesAssisting with tender submissionsPackaging RFQs (Request of Quotations)Compiling comprehensive BOQs (Bills of Quantities), as well as measuring and drawing-up of BOQs from drawingsAttend site clarification meetings for tenders and provide feedback to Senior ManagementFollowing up on RFQs sent out to Sub-Contractors, ensuring that the most competitive priced quotes are received on each trade for the tenderBuild relationships with various Sub-Contractors and Suppliers to ensure the best pricing is received in the marketRequirements:BTech in Quantity Surveying or similar qualification in the built environmentMinimum 2 years' relevant experience working in a building contractor environmentProficiency in CCS Candy and MS Office essentialValid Driver's License and own transportExcellent planning, organising, communication and interpersonal skillsGood decision making and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritise and focus on deliverablesA motivated self-starter who takes a proactive and solution driven approachEvidence of achieving deadlines in a demanding environmentBenefits:Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience.Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.Apply for this role today, contact Meghan du Plessis and Riana Hattingh (021 180 0776) at RPO Recruitment or on LinkedIn.You can also visit the RPO Recruitment website: rporecruitment.us or email us your CV: ******
