The ideal candidate will bring over 3 years of bookkeeping experience within an accounting environment, with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
This role involves processing financial data, managing monthly payroll, VAT, and reconciliations, and maintaining up-to-date records for various clients.
Ad hoc travel may be required to perform duties at client sites, with travel costs reimbursed.
Minimum Requirements Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Bookkeeper in an accounting environment.
Proficiency in Sage Online, Pastel and SARS Efiling.
Matric.
Relevant tertiary qualification.
Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles.
Valid Driver's License and own vehicle.
  Roles and Responsibilities Process financial transactions from bank statements to trial balance.
Manage monthly payroll processing.
Handle monthly VAT calculations and processing.
Conduct monthly account reconciliations.
Manage SARS follow-ups and correspondence.
Capture and submit returns on SARS eFiling.
Travel to client sites when necessary to perform bookkeeping duties.
(travel reimbursed) Work overtime when necessary to meet deadlines.
