Junior Application Support Specialist

IntroductionWe are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Application Support Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to users, generation and preparation of system reports as needed, and resolving software-related issues. You will work closely with other support specialists and developers to diagnose and troubleshoot problems, document solutions, and maintain accurate records. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong interest in technology and a desire to learn and grow in the IT field.Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide first-line technical support to users via phone, email, and on-site support as neededDiagnose and troubleshoot software-related issues, including configuration and functionality problemsEscalate complex issues to senior support specialists or developersParticipate in the onboarding of new users including training as requiredInvestigate and analyze system issues to determine the cause of issues and appropriate corrective actionReview and recommend continuous improvement of the systems and support processesDocument technical information and processes for existing and newly developed functionalityAssist with testing and debugging of new software releasesGenerate reports and tailor them as per user requirementsStay up-to-date on the latest software versions and technologiesMaintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with users and team membersDesired Experience & QualificationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar preferredStrong understanding of computer softwareExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong written and verbal communication skillsValid driver's license and experience in drivingProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with Cloud Based systems & performance/risk management tools a plusPackage & RemunerationR10,000 pm CTC on a 12-month contract, with the option to become permanent based on candidate performance.Opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.Work with a team of experienced and supportive IT professionals.
