Junior Accountant / Senior Bookkeeper

Our client based in Ixopo is seeking a customer friendly, skilled Junior Accountant or Senior Bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate should have experience and knowledge in bookkeeping activities, debtors' management, and general admin activities.
Key Responsibilities:

Debtors' management
General sales activities (quotes, tax invoices, cash book reconciliations)
General admin activities (order slips, delivery trip sheets, liaising with clients)
Support our Admin Manager with general office management and record keeping

Requirements and Skills:

Good understanding of accounting principles
A relevant accounting or bookkeeping qualification
Excellent computer literacy and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Pastel Accounting Software, and preferably online meeting platforms
Excellent customer communication skills and service
Proficient in English, the ability to communicate in isiZulu/isiXhosa is advantageous
The ability to work in a high pressure environment at times

Working hours are preferably 07:00am – 17:00pm but are negotiable. Own accommodation and transport are required.
