Junior Accountant

Asara Wine Estate & Hotel (Pty) Ltd in Stellenbosch, Western Cape is looking for a friendly, reliable and detail-orientated team player with excellent communication skills (Afrikaans & English) to join our Finance Team. The ideal candidate has the ability to multitask and work accurately under pressure, should be well presented & well spoken.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
will include but not limited to:
-Management Accounts, - Dailies, - Receivables, - Payables, - Inventory management, -Statutory returns, - assist with month end closing activities, - assist in preparation of audit file for the annual year end audit.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in accounting and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience;
- Excellent computer skills, (Pastel, Xero, Semper, Wine MS, Excel)
- Excellent administrative and numeracy skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
