Junior Accountant

Job Description:As the Junior Accountant, your day-to-day duties could include the following:Process and track invoicesEnsure timely payments and accurate billingReconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgersAssisting in maintaining the general ledgerEnsure accurate postings of journal entriesSupport month-end and year-end close processes by preparing necessary reportsAssisting with VAT and other tax-related documentation and submissionsPreparing and supporting tax filings under the guidance of senior accountantsHelp with the preparation of internal and external financial reports as neededTrack expenses and variances against budgeted figuresAccurately enter financial data into accounting systems, maintaining precision in all recordsAssisting with any other financial and administrative tasks as required by senior management Skills & Experience: 2 years of experience in a similar roleMS Excel proficiencyExposure working on SageQualification:Completed Tertiary qualificationGrade 12 (Matric) Contact JENELLE COOKSON on
