Job Description:Location: StellenboschPosition: BookkeeperA wine farm in Stellenbosch is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their team, the Bookkeeper will report to the Financial Manager. If you have a passion for numbers and a commitment to accuracy, we'd love to hear from you!Key responsibilities will include:• Manage all aspects of creditors and debtors.• Maintain accurate financial records up to trial balance.• Process invoices and payments in a timely manner.• Reconcile accounts and prepare monthly reports.• Ensure compliance with financial regulations.• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.We need to see:• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, ideally 3 years experience• Completed Finance / Accounting qualification• Proficiency in Xero, DEXT, Vinsight and advanced Excel skills• Strong understanding of accounting principles.• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.The successful individual will be part of a team that offers a supportive work environment & opportunities for professional development.
