In South Africa, we have a workforce of over 450 staff.About the roleReporting into the Production Manager/Process Engineer, this person will be responsible for set-up, and sustained robust performance of all injection moulding machines. Responsible for the proper set up and operation of injection moulding machines for the production of precision moulded plastic parts. Monitors the moulding process to ensure product quality. Executes daily production tasks and supervises work in accordance with production schedule. Creates set up procedures and process optimisation of new and existing plastic injection moulds. Mold Process and process troubleshooting of various types of injection moldsMold set ups and tooling changeoversMold maintenance and minor tool repairDirecting and monitoring the execution of the production schedule as well as performing mold and or material changes as dictated by the schedule.Performing process troubleshootingPart inspections and various other functions to insure part conformity and qualityVerifying paperwork for jobs and completion of inspections at start of jobs and in process inspectionsMonitoring and preparing support equipment i.e. circulators, grinders, etc. as needed in the production areaAssisting in break coverage as needed About you: National Senior Certificate / Matric / Grade 12 Certificate (Completed)Excellent oral and written communication skills in EnglishStrong Mathematical skillsHigh achievement orientationConcern for order, quality, and accuracyPunctualAbility to work within a teamPrepared to work shifts, occasionally.
