Primary purpose of the job: The responsibility of install and maintain systems and system compliance with staff in MedipostMaintenance of hardware and softwareOvertime may be requiredRequired to work 2 Saturdays a monthNetwork Cabling – on new projects, moves and maintainingIT support Hardware, Software, Desktops & TelephonesComputer, Telephone and other devices movesFormatting and setting up, loading software and operational programs of PC's & LaptopsTechnical assistance via VNC/TelephoneScanning in faulty or damage devices to be written off and be destroyedAssisting in setting up Mitel phones for new usersWorking through tickets that is loggedClose tickets with full detailsLogging of tickets to COPFIN for faulty Kyocera printersCompleting task in expected time frames and accuracyWorking overtime when neededMapping operational drivesLoading of config filesLoading and updating antivirus on systemsAssist in asset trackingReporting any network errors and problems to Network specialistReport any errors or problems that influence incompletion of dutiesAssisting in annual / monthly stock takeAssist in Technical Helpdesk when requiredQUALIFICATIONS: MINIMUM:Grade 12CompTIA A or other related IT professional certificationIDEAL: Valid driver's licenceDegree/diploma in ITEXPERIENCE: Minimum knowledge of ITExpert knowledge in how operating systems and software works.Medipost AppMicrosoft office and WindowsExcel and WordTroubleshooting in windowsSKILLS REQUIRED: Excellent problem-solving skills.The capacity to work well within a team.Logical thinking.Interpersonal skills as you will regularly be in contact with colleagues and/or customers.The ability to prioritise your workload.The capacity to clearly explain a technical problem to a customer/colleague.Outstanding listening and questioning skills.Verbal and written communication skills, listening skills, patience, empathy, conflict resolution, customer service orientationSpecific Requirements/Other important information: Ability to prioritise large work loadAbility to maintain policy guideline within pressured situationsAbility to act independentlyAbility to accept and take charge of projects allocated on short noticeWillingness to work overtime during high-pressure periods
