Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field (non-negotiable)
Certified CargoWise Professional (mandatory)
AWS certifications (advantageous)
Network certifications (advantageous). Proven experience of Managing an I.T. Department

Duties And Accountabilities:
Leadership and Management:
Lead and manage the IT department, providing guidance and technical support to team members
Develop and implement IT strategies that align with business goals
Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment
CargoWise Support:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all CargoWise-related issues and enhancements
Manage the implementation, support, and optimization of CargoWise systems
Ensure best practices and compliance with industry standards for CargoWise usage
Infrastructure Management:
Oversee the maintenance and optimization of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems
Ensure high availability and reliability of IT services and systems
Applications Support:
Manage the application support team, ensuring timely resolution of issues and user support
Put usage controls in place to avoid systems and cost abuse
Coordinate with stakeholders to identify and implement application improvements
CargoWise Systems Integrations:
Oversee Integration Projects: Plan and execute system integration projects to ensure seamless interoperability between different software applications, hardware systems, and IT infrastructures
Develop Integration and Test Strategies: Create and implement strategies, architectures, and platforms to facilitate efficient and secure data exchange and workflow across systems
Coordinate with Teams: Work with cross-functional teams, including IT, software development vendor, and business units, to gather integration requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications
Training and Documentation: Facilitate training sessions and create documentation for IT staff and end-users to ensure they understand the integration processes and can troubleshoot common issues
Provide associated documentation, according to internal process
Report / Budgeting:
Report Incident and System Information to Senior Management
Annual Budgeting for the I.T. Department
Monthly Reporting on I.T. Costs as defined by Senior Management
Strategic Planning:
Assess current IT systems and infrastructure to identify areas for improvement
Plan and execute IT projects to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
Compliance and Security:
Ensure adherence to IT security policies and data protection regulations
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to safeguard company data
