Our client in the Fintech industry, with offices in Paarl, is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer with over 4 years of IT support experience to manage and maintain their SaaS applications, cloud production environments, and Google Workspace. Key responsibilities include managing cybersecurity posture, DNS records, IT policies, and compliance with ISO27001 and POPIA/GDPR. The role also involves providing first-line support, troubleshooting, desktop support (Windows & MacOS), and acting as Information Security Officer. Relevant IT certifications are required, with a Google Workspace certification being a plus. Responsibilities Manage and maintain the suite of SaaS applications and integrations Manage and maintain the email and productivity suite (Google Workspace / G Suite) Provide first line support for the cloud production environments Manage Cyber Security posture including implementing improvements Manage DNS records including MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC Troubleshooting issues with the systems and networks Maintaining accurate configuration documentation Perform duties as the Information Security Officer Maintain IT policies and procedures in the ISMS Provide security expertise/consultation when required Maintain the IT environment to industry regulations such as ISO27001, POPIA/GDPR Assist in the implementation of changes to strengthen processes, procedures and compliance Assist teams with planning and adoption of new tools and services Handle SFTP server setup and issues General IT Admin incl. Desktop Support (Windows & MacOS) Installing new hardware and software Manage and maintain Head Office access Special Requirements: Relevant IT Certifications 4 years' IT support experience Google Workspace (G Suite) Certification is a plus Driver's license Willing to travel Have your own reliable transport Willingness to be on standby Willingness to assist Ad hoc Company culture: We value company culture and team work over timesheets and red tape.
