It Support Technician, Knysna

Telecommunications Company based in Knysna seeks to employ an experienced, dynamic, service-driven IT Support Technician. Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Grade 12 with relevant IT Diploma or equivalent in experience with software and hardware.Own vehicle and cell phone.Experience in a similar role, troubleshooting networks, systems, and various operational issues that are resolved either remotely or on site.Familiarity with various software installations.Solid understanding of printers, PCs, VOIP, Internet, etc.Self-motivated and eager to learn.Prepared to work after hours.Excellent communication skills.The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Product knowledge and upgrades, software programs solutions, and application upgrades.Technical maintenance on existing and new clients.Hardware installations and support.Setting up of new PCs, TVs, printers, cell phones, etc.Project management.Salary: Negotiable based on candidate experience.
