IT Support Technician II (Grade 11) Information and Technology Services The Department of Information and Technology Services invites suitably qualified candidates to join their team.
Main Objectives To respond to users' needs for desktop and laptop technical support. The incumbent will be required to provide professional, efficient and accurate responses to enable the staff of the university with their IT needs.
The Requirements Grade 12 with 4 years' relevant experience where such experience includes:
Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting and computer problem solving skillsWell-rounded expertise and practical knowledge of operating systems, networking and office softwareWorking in a team environmentWorking in a Windows desktop support environmentWorking in an IT environment using a ticket tracking systemExperience in Google Workspace environment.Application Process It is essential that prospective candidates read the job profile for further information and ensure that all relevant documentation is submitted.

Selection Process (provisional date, subject to change): Short-listing meeting date to be confirmed.The selection process that will be followed for this post will include an assessment and/or presentation and an interview.Shortlisted candidates will be informed of the interview date.Remuneration per annum (Grade 11): Basic Pensionable Salary per annum: R380 997
Cost to Company per annum (Approximately): R511 805
