Responsibilities:Ensure that all network and server equipment is operating efficiently and effectively, including the maintenance, upgrade, and installation of all network and server components.Maintain an up-to-date inventory of server and network equipment.Ensure compliance with data backup protocols and security measures, protecting Institute data with robust solutions that are regularly updated.Monitor network performance to meet the Institute's information needs and implement strict security systems across all IT resources to prevent breaches.Introduce new technologies to enhance work productivity and ensure a secure internet experience for users.Minimize downtime for IT equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.Attend to and resolve all user requests in a timely manner.Manage projects for the implementation of IT application systems, analyzing and developing solutions to support business operations.Provide first-level system support and helpdesk services for application users, administering IT Business Application Systems to ensure optimal functionality.Conduct periodic system maintenance and plan for application upgrades, along with providing user training.Prepare and submit timely monthly reports for the department.Manage operations related to computer networks, hardware, software, and IT infrastructure to ensure proper functioning.Requirements:Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.At least 5 years of relevant work experience in end-user and network support.Good technical background in networking (switches, routers, firewalls), Windows and Linux systems, and databases.Basic knowledge of programming and scripting is a plus.Strong troubleshooting skills in computer peripherals, LAN/WAN, and infrastructure knowledge.Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable, with good practices in general IT and end-user support.Ability to respond promptly to service issues and requests, demonstrating analytical and problem-solving skills.Capable of collaborating with external parties (stakeholders, vendors, and service providers) to achieve results.Proficient in prioritizing tasks effectively and able to work both as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.Experience in compliance documentation.
