The Jonsson Workwear Technology team is responsible for ensuring effective delivery of IT hardware, software, and networking of computers within the organisation. They work closely alongside various teams within the business to ensure service excellence and technological functionality.The IT Project Coordinator role forms part of the Jonsson Workwear Technology team and will be responsible for the coordination and management of IT project delivery. The role will work with the Projects Lead and the rest of the Technology team to deliver projects on time and in full.The main responsibilities of the role include:Scope and initiate new IT projects within the business. This includes both systems- and infrastructure-related projects.Follow the Jonsson Workwear projects governance process, compiling required project documentation and reports for presentation at the relevant project meetings scheduled with the Technology Team, suppliers, and business stakeholders.Compile and update project plans to accomplish project objectives.Engage with Technology Team and business stakeholders to schedule and hold project scoping sessions to define project requirements, project status meetings, and other project-related meetings.Manage project execution, driving the execution of project tasks with the Technology team and external suppliers to meet project deadlines.Collaborate with external suppliers to define and execute project deliverables.Identify and report project risks, and drive mitigation of these risks.The experience we're looking for:Over 4 years hands-on experience coordinating IT projects.Strong experience using Microsoft Projects, Excel, and Word.Suitable project management training qualification.PMBOK or PRINCE2 certifications will be an advantage.The type of personality that will excel:Proactive team player, who is flexible, persistent, and responsive.Someone who holds everyone accountable to their commitments.Has a good knowledge of IT Systems and Services.Someone who is obsessed with excellence and attention to detail.Practices effective time management with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands.Has strengths in collaboration, analytical & problem-solving skills.Someone who is disciplined, methodical, and uses a structured approach.Strong communication and presentation skills.In line with Jonsson Workwear's commitment to employment equity, applications from candidates from designated groups, as well as candidates with disabilities, are encouraged.
