This role is also responsible for coordinating and managing multiple tools/systems across the entire IT portfolio, aligned but not limited to Sage X3. The incumbent will be expected to find solutions to existing and/or ongoing business and IT challenges. This function will entail automation of numerous manual processes.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:IT Lead for the design and subsequent implementation of a specified projectProject manage the implementation to achieve plan & deliverables, managing risks, issues & change. Coordinate system roll outDrive IT maintenance communication & stakeholder managementDeployment and maintenance support in a fast-paced environmentResponsible for providing on-call support to usersPlaying the role of System Administrator to deliver support service to customersConduct problem investigation and root cause analysis.Scope including infrastructure support, problem fixing, root cause analysis.Productively manage systems to ensure smooth running of the IT environment.Change management, including tracking change and issue managementDevelopment of IT strategy in conjunction with the CFO, Exco and execution of said strategyAct as Deputy Chief Information OfficerThis role will be heavily involved in operational improvement initiatives including but not limited to:Design, application and building standardsIncreased quality of methodology executionGrowth of IT services and competenceVendor management and financial spendResource cross management across IT Operation including but not limited to:InfrastructureDevelopmentIT OperationsImplementationsKEY RELATIONSHIPS / STAKEHOLDERS3rd party stakeholdersMEASURES OF SUCCESS/ GENERIC OBJECTIVESTimely project deliverablesQuality of project deliverablesManaged risk & issuesTransition of project into live environment to achieve sustainabilityContinued maintenance of implemented solutions.EDUCATION / EXPERIENCEBachelor's Degree in IT or equivalent.Strong leadership ExperienceCOMPETENCIES REQUIRED:Excellent communication & interpersonal skillsStrategic thinking and analytical problem solvingAble to interact with, and advise, at all levelsAble to apply project management fundamentalsOrganised approach to workingAttention to detailHigh standards of personal performance / integrityBe able to work independently, while maintaining a team view & attitudeBe able to work collaboratively as part of a team and across a matrixEmbrace challenge & changeAbility to work under pressure and manage ambiguityLOCATION:Pineslopes Branch (Fourways, Johannesburg) however, some mobility may be required.
