ResponsibilitiesLexdan Select is assisting a client in the retail sector with their search for an IT Director based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. Responsibilities:Develop and execute the IT strategy aligned with the company's business goals.Oversee the management and optimization of the IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks. Ensure the security and integrity of the company's data and systems, implementing best practices and compliance standards.Plan and implement technology upgrades and improvements to enhance operational efficiency company-wide.Coordinate with other departments to identify technology needs and provide appropriate solutions.RequirementsRelevant degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.7+ years of experience in IT management, with experience of leading IT projects and teams.Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data management.Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or CISSP would be advantageous.If you are a forward-thinking IT professional ready to take on a leadership role and drive technological excellence, we want to hear from you.
