IT Delivery Manager: Financial Planning, Consolidation & ReportingJob PurposeThe incumbent will be responsible to the customers and process partners for the development and operation (e.g., innovation, product and requirements management, design, advanced development, test, quality assurance, documentation, maintenance, and operation) of the IT products and its respective services throughout the entire life cycle in the above mentioned context.Key accountabilities:GeneralResponsible for the IT-products, IT-services, and their quality, including security, compliance, budget/investment in accordance with regulatory conditions concerning the customers and process partners.Responsible to source and manage an international product pipeline.Global Delivery on IT products and DevOps within the Shared Service Centre context.Specifies, designs, develops, tests, and operates the IT-products and IT-services and assures their quality.Continually adjusts and improves the IT-products and IT-services.Ensures the availability of the IT-products and IT-services.Influence business planning and assist business in international locations to align to central business strategies.Manage and lead a team of specialists in order to deliver State-of-the-Art DevOps / Products.Responsible for Standardization and Reusability of the developed systems/software (BMW Group Template Design & Development).Sourcing and proactive management of DevOps resources - resource planning in order to deliver on agreed products & projects.Responsible for all aspects of Agile DevOps to ensure that product development is completed efficiently and with a high level of quality in time & budget.Maintenance of Governance models for Agile DevOps for the SAP Shared Service Centre together with Group IT.Implements the IT-Governance requirements (e.g., IT-Security, IT-Compliance, IT-Risk, and IT-Architecture).Delivers all necessary support and assistance to the international process partners in alignment with the customer orientation approach.Accountable for 24x7 DevOps according to the agreed customer requirements.Operate in an international environment spanning the different time zones – must be available to attend to escalations/customers outside of normal ZA operating hours.Design & Delivery of Global SAP products and 'building blocks' to enable fast and flexible solutions and standard platforms (technical standardization).Problem management resolution (implement).Ensure reliable sourcing and management of Agile DevOps services/resources.SAP Source code management.Manage departmental finances including forecasting and monitoring.Personnel and Resource Management:Mentor and coach team members.Allocate and balance resources to support company and customer requirements.Forecast personnel/contractor resources required to achieve both short- and long-term objectives.Ensure the approval of additional or the availability of existing resources for additional prioritized requirements.Conduct associate career planning and development.Negotiate Labour Broking Contracts with providers.Compliance and Governance:Ensure IT-Relevant Compliance requirements in the local and international legislative framework for own department, product area, and projects.Ensure compliance with ITPM on all IT products & projects.Leadership Task:Managing the resources and skills within the section in line with BMW Guidelines and Procedures.Disciplinarily lead associates in own department in line with agreed goals and targets.Delegating tasks to subordinate specialists and managing their delivery accordingly.Motivate associates to achieve above average performance.Act in a fair and unbiased manner to obtain loyalty to the company and the department based on the 5 BMW values.Take corrective action in line with company policy where necessary.
