It Change Management Consultant

The Change Management Consultant should at least have 5 years' experience in Change Management for IT Related Projects.1.1. Purpose of the post: To develop and Implement Change Management Strategies and Plans.Development of communication plan specifically for the project.Planning change management activities.Development of Training PlanManagement of Change, Communication and Training PanSupporting organisational leadership through the change process.Development and Implementation of Change embedding strategy and plan1.2 Description of tasksThe key tasks for a Change Management Consultant include and not limited to:Assessing an organization's readiness for changeTailoring communication strategically to get the right messages to the right people in a way that will be received as well as possible.Building buy-in across the entire organizationLeveraging digital adoption tools to speed up the transition process and contextualize a transformation for the internal teamAssessing and prioritizing feedback from those affected by the changeAssess effectiveness of the change management planContinuous updating of the change management planManaging organisational change across the lifecycle of the project.1.3. Competency requirementsKnowledgeKnowledge of governmental environment.Knowledge of IT Project Management Principles.Experience in a consulting environment is an asset.Working knowledge of OpenText solutions is an asset and an added advantage.Understanding of most prevalent ECM /EIM systems used in the industry will be an added advantage.SkillsGood communication.Planning and time management.Managing people.Project management.Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to travel to clients' sites throughout the country.1.4 QualificationRelevant National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in, Information Technology, Information Management or Personnel / Human Resource Management.Prosci Change Management Certification.1.5 ExperienceExtensive experience in managing change for IT related project.Experience as a manager or team leaderProject management experience.Experience in managing change in ECM/EIM/RM project will be an added advantage.
