It Asset Administrator

Main PurposeFinancial Administration- Assists with processing of purchase orders and invoices- Assist with budget planning for IT AssetsAsset Administration- Ensures Asset information is updated on a day-to-day basis- Record keeping of all asset movements- Recording and ensuring assets are disposed correctly- Maintaining and updating insurance IT Register- Conducting random audits of IT Assets- Ensure all asset recoveries are conducted correctly- Ensures regular updating of product catalogs- Responsible for record keeping of inventory in the storeroom and updating management of stock balances- Ensures strict measures of control are in place for all storage facilities for IT- Ensure strict adherence to ITAM policies and procedures- Compiles import files and ledger recons for balancing assets with finance- Responsible for maintenance of inventory for software and hardware- Responsible for booking in and out of hardware and softwareGeneral- Provides general support to ITSM and ITAM team- Assists with admin support to IT Manco when requiredFormal Education:- Matric- Diploma on Office AdministrationTechnical/ Legal Certification:- A+ (advantage)- ITIL Foundation- ITIL Asset Management (Advantage)- Advanced Microsot OfficeExperience:- 2 years experience working with Asset Management and Audi8ng- IT environment / Finance Environment
