Ipc System And Quality Operations Specialist

To maintain the IPC surveillance programme and monitor and manage the IPC surveillance system in order to support the implementation of the IPC Strategy and Programme.KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREASMonitor and manage the IPC Surveillance system to ensure its usability, functionality, and efficiency to identify IPC risks and support the IPC Programme.Manage and maintain the IPC surveillance programme through clear application of the infection definitions within the framework of the IPC Strategy.Identify and address Surveillance system training needs through surveillance system audits, data analysis, and interactions with stakeholders.Ensure knowledge management related to IPC policies, procedures, and guidelines.Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance requirements and develop and support Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives.Manage stakeholder relations for IT system development.EDUCATIONProfessional Nurse (Diploma / Degree); Qualification in Infection Prevention and Control.Post Graduate Diploma in Infection Prevention and Control.EXPERIENCE5 years' experience in a dedicated IPC position.3-5 years' experience in private hospital capacity.ICNet surveillance system and related system literacy.Interpretation and application of the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) definitions.Data analysis and interpretation.Knowledge of relevant statutory requirements and accreditation standards.Understanding of Infection Prevention and Control policies and the ability to develop new policies.Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office).Report writing.Ability to influence people.Critical thinking skills and the ability to make decisions independently.Ability to conduct a systems analysis and the ability to advise on the appropriate preventative measures.Knowledge and experience of quality improvement methodology.
