A small boutique investment management firm dedicated to providing top-notch financial services to our clients is currently seeking a junior (1 year experience) Investment Administrator to join our team.As the Investment Administrator, you will be assisting the Head of Operations in all aspects of the investment administration process. These are more set tasks either on a recurring basis or ad-hoc basis. The description below will evolve as the company grows.The client administration role will be more responsive to client requests and needs. As the Client Administrator, you will be responsible for client administration services, as well as providing support to the CEO, Head of Operations, and Financial Advisers (IFAs) in the provision of high-quality ongoing service to prospective, new, and existing clients.The job description will primarily include, but not be limited to, the following:1. Investment Administration:To assist the Head of Operations with, amongst others:Updating of portfolio holdings.Updating of daily prices.Assisting with month-end processing.Preparation of monthly investment surveys.Preparation of monthly performance reporting.Reconciliation of monthly client reports to Custodian accounts.The role is not limited to the above and will include other aspects of investment administration as the Company expands its investment offering.2. Client Administration:2.1 New business:Assist IFAs and clients with the on-boarding process by receiving documents and ensuring that all the requirements are met in terms of FICA and other relevant legislation.Troubleshooting the on-boarding process as necessary to ensure a smooth and efficient process.2.2 Existing business:Assisting IFAs and clients with any queries relating to existing client portfolios to ensure efficient and professional handling of all client-related queries.Managing the client database on the internal network, and maintaining an accurate electronic filing system.Liaising with service providers in terms of general administrative requests and queries.Assist with client monthly reporting.
