Inventory PlannerOur client in the retail industry requires the service of an Inventory Planner to manage the inbound Supply Chain through effective management of supplier accounts and product ranges.Duties & ResponsibilitiesKey performance areas:Data analysis and reportingPromotional planning and replenishmentSystem coordination of supplier accounts to optimize the most profitable ordering patterns and frequencyItem parameter setting and data analysis to enable optimal forecasting resultsPlace supplier purchase orders to ensure achievement of inventory and serviceProject ManagementDesired Experience & QualificationThe successful candidate must have:Matric with a degree in Supply Chain or relevant qualificationMinimum 2 years' experience in supply chainExcellent product knowledgeExcellent Computer Literacy (MS Office - Especially Excel - Pivot Tables)SAP Knowledge is EssentialMust have excellent communication skills (written & verbal)Package & RemunerationSalary will be discussed during the interview stage.
