LOGISTICS - manage the entire order cycle so as to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer servicesDirect, optimize and coordinate full order cycleLiaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumersKeep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiencyArrange warehouse, catalogue goodsResolve any arising problems or complaintsMeet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targetsMaintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvementsComply with laws, regulations and ISO requirement2. INVENTORY - ensure that all business operations have adequate stock to achieve their objectives.Devise ways to optimize inventory control proceduresInspect the levels of business supplies to identify shortagesEnsure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customersRecord daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventoryUse software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventoryPlace orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplusAnalyze data to anticipate future needsEvaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationshipsCollaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are metReport to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.Product costing, standard cost updates, analysis of cost variance, and preparation of cost reportsHandling inventory, reporting, and reconciliationsPerforming month-end closing activities and ensuring financial accounting related to revenue and costing is completed in a timely and accurate manner3. IMPORT & EXPORT - Manage the shipment of goodsEnsure that shipment is done in accordance with the rules and regulation of Import and Export.Engage with the insurance, tariffs and quotas.Make categories of the shipment according to tariff coding system.Liaise with custom agents to ensure shipment is done through customs.Negotiate to reduce taxes and duties owed.
