Offshore Buyer (Frozen Poultry & Fish)

Key responsibilities include but not limited to: International and local product sourcing of frozen commodities.Purchasing / Procurement of International products with existing and new suppliers.Development of the companys product range.Negotiation of pricing, rebates and settlement discounts.Negotiation and handling of claims.Handling the negotiation of cycle deals, promotions, and POS material for relevant markets.Helping to build and develop new brands for new markets.Attending Trade Fairs, local and international travel.Experienced in exclusivity, pricing, route to market / value chains, cycle deals, claims process, rebates and settlements. Requirements: Skills and experienceMinimum 3 years experience in international procurement of frozen commodities, ideally frozen poultry and fish.Offshore/international buying experience is essential!Maintaining and developing supplier relationshipsUnderstanding of exports, shipping markets and INCO terms.Experience in operations and logistics would be advantageous.
