Your mission:Implement improvement processes and systems to reduce inventory, minimize warehousing costs thus maximizing working capitalCall off and coordinate deliveries to ensure continuous supply of all raw materials to the millReceipt and manage all stock movements on SAPEnsure integrity and accuracy of stock on SAPPlan and conduct stock counts internally and at the external warehousesInvestigate variances, report and resolve accordinglyProduce reports to ensure critical areas in stock management are controlled and any discrepancies resolved timeouslyCreate work orders and track usage versus budgetDevelop and maintain accurate procedures for all inventory control processesDocument control and filingPrepare documentation and systems for auditing purposesSupply specific stock requirements input into departmental plansForecast stock requirements based on usage and model stockEnsure effective cost control and minimize stock write offs by following inventory control principlesEnsure compliance to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality aspects according to set parametersStandby dutiesYour profile:Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Warehousing, Inventory or Supply Chain Management (NQF 6)3 to 5 years' experience in operational inventory control with SAP or ERP experience within the Paper making industry.Possess relevant IT skills in basic MS office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)Valid South African drivers licenseForklift and overhead crane driving experience desirableWe offer:Location: Merebank Mill, Travancore Drive, 4052Duration: PermanentBenefits:Learning & DevelopmentHealth benefitsGet in touch:We strive to create a culture that inspires our people to reach their full potential.
