Minimum requirements Completed NQF level 7 in Analytical Chemistry or Chemistry No working experience, graduate in search of internship to gain experience Not have participated previously in any formal employment or internship/learnership programme Be a South African citizen Must be unemployed graduate under the age of 35 Basic knowledge of radioactivity and radioactivity measurements is advantageous Computer literacy and proficiency in MS office
Skills Development and Training focus areas Implementation on sample administration procedure which involves sample receipt, storage and processing. Receive relevant training on the various analytical techniques and use of instruments. Preparation procedures for various sample matrices. Training on the administration of portable instruments. Training the implementation of the Quality Assurance program. Training on the calibration of various instruments. Participate in all the above activities on a regular basis including assistance with the maintenance of all the laboratory infrastructure.
