Internal – X2 Installation Technician – Cape Town

POSITION STATEMENT Installations Team Leaders are accountable and responsible for all the installation teams' daily activities, including time management, assignments, quality assurance, and effectiveness. They ensure all teams comply with the Britelink installation standards, handle daily reporting, and report on escalations of non-compliance by the installation technicians.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Execute high-quality installations in accordance with installation standards. Ensure all jobs scheduled for the date of installation are completed. Discuss installation requirements and routes with customers prior to starting installation jobs. Conduct a walk-through with customers to assess the quality of installation. ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS Log into the Installations App and view scheduled installations for the day. Manage stock effectively. Update the health and safety file. Handle communications. Provide reports on assistants' adherence to work schedules and performance. KEY COMPETENCIES Problem-solving skills. Interpersonal skills. Decision-making skills. Time management skills. Multi-tasking abilities. QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. Driver's license (valid for a minimum of 2 years). At least 3 years' experience in a fibre, call centre, or customer relations environment. Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, Email, and internet usage.
