Job Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, greeting any visitors or clients, and answering telephone calls.
Procedure & Responsibilities: Hire of Materials Handling Equipment. Receiving and professionally handling customer calls and enquiries. Providing knowledgeable and quality advice to the customer. Produce detailed & accurate quotations according to customer requirements. Ensure credit applications completed with all relevant documents required and sent to Credit Manager for accounts to be opened. Opening and closing of all rental contracts. Processing of invoices for rental sales. Client retention. Customer service & dealing with customer request and queries. General administration. Communication between customers and colleagues. Identifying, evaluating & maximizing opportunities that will benefit the company. Following company protocol, procedures, and best practice. Meeting deadlines & sales targets as set out and amended from time to time. Marketing and lead report sheets to be accurately updated on a weekly basis. Debtors – assisting with debtors as and when required. Identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities including company cross selling and marketing. Assisting within the department as & when required. Skills / Qualifications: Matric. Experience in sales would be beneficial. Experience in the forklift industry will be an advantage. Confident, assertive, and highly responsive. A problem solver who performs well under pressure. Integrity, sound ethics, reliable and high expectations of self and others. Ambitious, self-motivated, and results-driven. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility. Must have effective written and verbal communication skills to build strong interpersonal relationships. NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
