If you thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while dealing with incoming enquiries, phoning new clients, and selling new products, then this role is for you.Our well-established client based in Montague Gardens is looking for an Internal Sales Representative to join their team, who strive for outstanding service and impeccable quality.Duties & ResponsibilitiesREQUIREMENTSMatric, relevant qualification advantageous2 – 3 years' experience in a similar roleExcellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skillsSelf-driven with initiative, deadline-driven, excellent planning & organisational skillsAbility to work under pressure and adapt to changing demands and conditionsHigh attention to detail, enthusiastic and committedExperience within the Warehouse and Retail industryExperience working with electrical equipment and toolsUnderstanding of sales performance metricsDUTIESProcess orders via email and over the phone and assist over-the-counter sales for walk-in customersMake outbound calls to potential customers and follow up on leads by referring the customer to the respective external sales repsEnsure information on customer orders is correctLiaise with the warehouse department ensuring timely deliveries of ordersAssist with quarterly stock takesUnderstand customer needs and continuously promote products to new and existing customersContact customers to ensure the accuracy of information on the invoicesFollow up on sales quotes weeklyMaintain accurate records of all follow-ups made with customers and provide feedback to managementUpdate product knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in on-the-job training opportunitiesSalary: Dependent on experience
