Internal Sales Representative

The ideal candidate is a competitive self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.ResponsibilitiesSource new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.Support external sales by assisting with quotations and closing out of orders.Support external sales by sourcing required products.Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.Communicate with customers, make outbound calls to potential customers, and follow up on leads.Understand customers' needs and identify sales opportunities.Answer potential customers' questions and send additional information via email.Keep up with product and service information and updates.Create and maintain a database of current and potential customers.Explain and demonstrate features of products and services.Upsell products.QualificationsMatric Certificate.2-3 years internal sales experience.Experience within the industrial supplies industry is a must.Experience with Palladium accounting is an advantage.
