Location: The position will be based in Centurion with a hybrid work policy.Job Type: Full-Time Company: Monkey and River Experience Level: 2-4 YearsRole Overview:As an Intermediate UX/UI Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience and interface of various digital products. Youll work across multiple projects, responsible for conducting the entire design processfrom gathering requirements to delivering final designs to the development team. Your primary focus will be on UX design, though strong UI skills are essential. Youll also be expected to conduct user testing and ensure that the final product aligns with both user needs and business objectives.Key Responsibilities:Conduct user research using various methodologies such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and contextual inquiries.Conduct design projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with user and business goals.Create user personas, journey maps, and experience maps to guide the design process.Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts effectively.Create high-fidelity UI designs, ensuring they are user-friendly, visually appealing, and aligned with the brands design language.Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless handoff and implementation of designs.Ensure the design process follows established best practices, from requirements gathering to dev handover.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX and UI design.Requirements:2-4 years of industry experience in UX research, UX design, and UI design.Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.Qualification in UX, Information Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a related field (a university degree is not required but is advantageous).Ability to work on-site in Centurion at least 2 days per week.Proficiency in the design and prototyping tool Figma.
