JOB DESCRIPTION In this role, you will contribute to System Design by assisting with architectural design, guiding developers in technical decisions, coding, and reviewing code. You will research and select the optimal architecture for proposed systems, adhering to development standards. Your responsibilities will include developing code that meets software testing criteria, creating software builds from source code according to the company's coding standards, and configuring the necessary development environment. Additionally, you will produce integration test specifications based on project plans, conduct tests as specified, record any failures, document FAT test results for each developed function, and compile system integration reports.
Occasionally, due to the critical nature of the business, you may need to work outside of regular hours.
REQUIREMENTS 3 years of experience in Software Development Grade 12 Standard literacy – English language proficiency IT Degree or Diploma or relevant experience In-depth Java knowledge Java 8 J2EE J2EE containers and web servers (Payara / Glassfish) API development REST and SOAP Spring boot framework Apache Camel Apache Maven Working knowledge of operating systems, including Linux A thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycle Source code management (Git) Strong problem-solving skills and accurate forecasting of effort required and closing timeframe Multitasker, self-motivated Client/customer service orientation Quality assurance Attention to detail Dedicated collaborator with a strong dedication to achieving team goals Communication skills Adaptability Desirable experience: Java 17 J2EE Frontend Experience (CSS, HTML, and JS) Docker or Kubernetes Knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL / MySQL / Oracle) Testing frameworks like JUnit CI/CD Pipelines Please ignore the salary stated as it is flexible.
