Job Description The SFS analytics team supports the various products within SFS/FNB commercial with the aim to improve sales and processes while keeping risk management in mind. The successful candidate will handle more technical projects that require not only technical expertise but also initiative, creativity in solution design, and a broad understanding of the business to identify opportunities and exploit inefficiencies. As a senior quant in the team, you will provide support to the head of SFS analytics, manage your own projects, guide junior members of the team, and get things done with minimal supervision.

You will be working on many types of products including:
Commercial Overdrafts Invoice discounting Leverage finance Guarantees Letters of Credit Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Undertaking predictive modelling and designing data products within FNB commercial/SFS analytics to drive innovation or add value by reducing risk, increasing sales/cross-selling/revenue/profits, improving efficiency, retaining existing customers, or a combination of these. Examples include clustering/hyper segmentation, propensity modelling, attrition modelling, and data-driven insights. Being heavily involved in designing solutions for problems faced by stakeholders in FNB commercial/SFS, performing initial investigations, proposing solutions, building business cases, and participating in POCs including A/B testing. Assisting with ad-hoc queries for stakeholders regarding existing or new solutions. Driving implementation of solutions on platform/production environments. Building and guiding other team members to build PowerBI reports that display valuable insights and trends. Managing relationships with senior stakeholders. Participating in code and peer reviews.
