Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Systems Engineer to join our team and manage our Enterprise Directory Services implementation.
The ideal candidate will hold a National Diploma/Degree or relevant technical certification such as MCSE, with proven expertise in Active Directory (AD) back-end management.
This role requires a strong background in supporting and optimizing AD services across a large-scale enterprise environment.
Duties and responsibilities : Manage and support Enterprise Directory Services, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Active Directory (AD) back-end services.
Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for AD-related issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth AD integrations with other systems.
Develop and maintain documentation, including policies, procedures, and best practices for AD management.
Monitor and manage system performance, implementing improvements where necessary.
Conduct regular audits and security assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
Lead projects related to Active Directory upgrades, migrations, and enhancements.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to Directory Services.
Requirements Qualifications and experience: National Diploma/Degree in IT or a related field, or relevant technical certification.
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification with a focus on Domain Services.
Minimum of 4 years of experience managing an Enterprise Directory Services implementation.
In-depth knowledge of Active Directory back-end architecture and administration.
Experience in managing group policies, domain controllers, replication, and AD security.
Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, LDAP, and other related services.
Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex AD-related issues.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Preferred Skills: Experience with Azure Active Directory and hybrid environments.
Familiarity with identity management, authentication protocols, and security best practices.
Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell) for automation of AD tasks.
