Instrumentation Technician (Permanent)

Reporting to the Automation Group Leader, this position requires the services of an individual to do maintenance installations on hydraulic presses, Industrial robots, CNC Machines as well as Spot welding guns.Must be prepared to work shifts (Rotating 3 shift system morning, afternoon, and night).Knowledge required:PLC programming (Siemens S5, S7 & Festo)Robotics (Kuka & ABB)AC/DC – Drives and Servo applications and drives experienceSCADA (Win CC, WinCC Flex) / HMI (Siemens, EBELT, BTxxx, Suetron) programmingSEW MotorsProfi BusProfi NetTIAHanging Spot Guns Step 7Root cause analysisSkills Required:Able to read and understand electrical drawingsElectrical & PLC fault findingAbility to read and understand Hydraulic/ Pneumatic drawingsAble to work on 3 phase 380 VMinimum Requirements:2 – 3 years' experience in Automation and InstrumentationOR Qualified Millwright or Electrician with applicable experienceT3/S4 Diploma will be an advantage2- 3 years as a technician in the electrical field, especially in automation (hydraulics, maintenance/robotics/projects)Should you wish to apply please email your CV through to Erin Bentz at ******.
