Research, design, develop and manage learning and practicing experiences for Regal staff, aligned to Regal's needs.Develop content for learners to acquire knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective and appealing manner.
Write a variety of content to support communications, including newsletters, SharePoint pages, Posters, Infographics, Presentations and more.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREA'S:
1. Maintenance and upgrades of the Regal LMS
2. Creating of new content on the LMS - technical for staff and customers
3. Design and development of training for the Regal LMS for staff and customer training
4. Curation and upload of soft skills training on the LMS for staff
5. Gamification of content on the LMS
6. Regal Newsletter creation and upload to all staff
7. Troubleshooting LMS functionality issues
8. Upgrades of LMS annually
9. Reporting of LMS monthly
10. Sharepoint super user for HR uploads
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Instructional Designer:
Ability to create training content on the LMS that is engaging and interactive
Ensure that content meets Industry standards
Content should showcase knowledge of CCTV, Networking, Access Control and Regal Products and Services
Content should make use of tools such as Articulate, Captiva, Camtasia, Lectora to build effective training content
Gamification for new content and upgrades of existing content
Must be able to make use of LLM to promote use of the LMS
Content created should showcase lesson and curriculum planning
Keeping training team abreast of new technologies to improve the platform and training content and methodologies.
LMS Administrator:
Upload SCORM files to LMS
LMS Super User for reporting and upgrades
Customer Support contact for functional issues
Liaison with LMS provider for escalations, enhancement requests, product news and new releases
Troubleshoot LMS issues & recommend solutions
Quality Assurance & Improvement
Communications Coordinator:
Superior time management and organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
An analytical mind and ability to think critically
Exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Maintaining and updating the HR Sharepoint Page
Creation of the Regal Newsletter on a monthly basis
Ad hoc assistance with Presentations for HR team
