Are you someone who can: Manage team or teams in areas of responsibility in delivery against performance targets and achievement of wider risk and compliance objectives.Create Information Architecture roadmaps, approve project implementations for uses cases and monitor implementation thereof within area of responsibility.Lead information and data architecture through continuous innovation and improvement in processes and procedures across area of responsibility.Establish mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders that support thought leadership, innovative and integrated practice solutions.Design and deliver customer service solutions, systems and interactions aligned to Organisational values and service and operating standards that govern how the group aligns with policy and compliance requirements.Tackle complex organizational problems which require understanding of hierarchies, relationships and data modelling while also navigating various technologies and domains.Ensure required training and awareness is provided to relevant stakeholders (for area of scope) related to Information Architecture framework, policies, standards, and principles.Identify, drive and implement ideas, procedures, standards and frameworks to enhance scalability and maintainability of solutions and manage future fit practice.Deploy integrated risk management, governance and compliance frameworks throughout area of responsibility.Identify and participate in activities that are appropriate for own development as a life-long learner.Draw up a budget aligned to tactical delivery plans to facilitate the provision of adequate financial resources. You will be an ideal candidate if you possess: Qualification: Computer Science or Information Systems degree. Experience: 3-5 years managing teams comprising skilled data engineers and developers of various levels.Proficient user with deep technical understanding of various Database Management system technologies (MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and associated toolsets.Leading ETL implementations for applications with complex data models and using a variety of technologies (Ab Initio, SSIS).Implementation of reporting and data visualization solutions (PowerBI).Exposure to regulatory domains like AML, FICA, POPIA etc is beneficial. Additional knowledge and skills: Familiarity with development methodologies and project management approaches as well as associated tools, e.g.: Jira.Understanding and adoption of IT Service Management concepts as well as associated tools, e.g.: ServiceNow.
